About Me
I first got into photography as a youngster, because of my grandfather's interest in it. I have taken portrait and travel pictures for over two decades, and finally moved into the field of concert photography in 2001. Back then, I was using a good old fashioned 35mm SLR and countless rolls of film. Five years later I decided to give DSLR a try, and looking back, I have no regrets. I have been using digital Nikon SLR's ever since.
Today, I work as a freelance writer and journalistic photographer, in spite of the fact that I still like to indulge myself in landscape and architectural photography occasionally.
Aside from shooting well-known acts, I focus on aspiring local artists and bands whose remarkable talent and potential clearly deserve increased national and international recognition.
Being Helsinki based, I don't mind traveling, time permitting. Feel free to write to me in English, Finnish, or German.
